LONG BEACH – Last Saturday in the CIF Southern Section Open Division elimination rounds, Sierra Canyon's Duane Washington Jr. sent the diversion into additional time in brave form with a fadeaway 3-pointer as time terminated against Bishop Montgomery. 
Washington Jr. was in an indistinguishable circumstance Friday night against Mater Dei.
