Search 6.4 magnitude earthquake shakes the country
lAHORE: The earthquake tremors shook Lahore, Islamabad and other parts of Pakistan on Wednesday. The media reports further stated that jolts were also felt in Sargodha, Deer, Chitral, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Multan, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal, Pindi Bhattian, FATA, Swat and other regions of the country. Earlier in the day, tremors were also felt in Swat, Malakand division, Manshera, Dera Ismail Khan, Hangu, Abbottabad, and Mardan. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the magnitude of the quake was recorded 5.1 on the Richter scale. The tremors were felt between 8.15am and 8.30am. People felt the jolts for about 20 seconds.
